Chengappa is associated with HP/HPE for a decade and is currently associated with Compute Business Group, catering to the requirements and solutions for telco on NFV Infrastructure. Dr. Siva Teja Kakileti has 7+ years of experience in AI/ML for Medical Imaging. He is one of the founding members and Principal Research Scientist at Niramai. He co-authored 18 international publications, 2 book chapters and has 16 international granted patents (7 US, 9 IN). He was a recipient of DAAD WISE fellowship 2014 and was offered MITACS Globalink Fellowship in 2014. He was granted a PhD degree by the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences of Maastricht University, The Netherlands and Bachelors of Technology degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. Prior to Niramai, he worked in the healthcare analytics group at Xerox Research Centre India as a Budding Scientist for 1.5 years.

His team was the Regional Level Winner of Technology Dissemination Contest conducted by IEEE Pune Section. Amith is an Education Technical Evangelist at MathWorks and works with the academic institutions in India on the adoption of MathWorks’ workflows in curriculum and research. Amith has been with the MathWorks for seven years and has previously worked with the Engineering Development Group and Software Development in the Image Processing and Computer Vision areas focusing on workflows for image registration and pixel labeling. His areas of interests include Computer Vision and Software Engineering. Amith has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from NITK Surathkal and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.

Sanmathi is leading the Video team at Leia Inc headquartered in the Silicon Valley. He has obtained his Masters degree from San Diego State University with a thesis focussing on Region of Interest Video Coding with H.264. He has been in the industry for over a decade working with various aspects of Video domain including real time streaming, compression and transport. His current role entails Video processing for 3D, multiview and holographic displays for automative, retail, medical and consumer applications. He is actively working with efficient encoding strategies for transport and storage of 3D video on mobile devices.

Shailesh has 20 years of industrial experience in the field of Audio Signal processing with 4 approved patents and some more pending. He has worked in the capacity of Director of Audio Algorithms in Knowles (Formerly Audience Inc) and Manager in Amazon Lab126. During this period Shailesh worked on Noise Suppression and Echo Cancellers which were adopted into major smartphones like Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, LG, OnePlus, etc. Shailesh was the backbone of the Audience when it became the number one supplier of Noise Suppression chipsets in the industry. Shailesh worked in Amazon Lab126 and was leading the team which delivered the industry's leading smart speaker products the Echo series. He was the lead for delivering the Echo Show( Echo Show, Echo Spot, Echo Show 5, Echo Show8) series of products along with Amazon's first premium Echo Product (users rating for the device as the superior audio device). Shailesh was also responsible for delivering the Echo Dot, which is Amazon's leading Alexa device with close to 100 million devices sold worldwide and a user rating of 4.2/5. Currently, Shailesh is working in Harman International as Senior Engineering Manager for the DSP team responsible for delivering Car Audio solutions like ANC, Road Noise Cancellation, Vehicle Noise Compensation, Audio Equalizer, Surround sound Audio, and other audio features to major car audio manufacturers worldwide. He is also serving as the current Chairman of the IEEE Bangalore Section Signal Processing Chapter.

K.V.S. HARI (PhD UC San Diego 1990) has been with the Department of ECE, Indian Institute of Science, since 1992, where he is currently a Professor and coordinates the activities of the Statistical Signal Processing Laboratory. He has been a visiting faculty at Stanford University and KTH, Stockholm. His research interests include statistical signal processing, sparse signal processing, array signal processing, machine learning, with applications to MIMO wireless communication systems, radar and navigation systems, autonomous systems, assistive technologies for the elderly, MRI systems, and neuroscience. He is the Editor-in-Chief (Electrical Sciences) of Sadhana and a Fellow of IEEE and INAE.

Abhinav Jain graduated from I.I.T Kanpur with a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. Dr. Abhishek Appaji is working as Institutional Coordinator for R&D and Associate Professor at B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bangalore. He is also serving as Guest faculty at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. He is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp specialized in new ventures leadership. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Medical Electronics with University Rank from BMSCE, Masters of Technology in Information Technology, and a Masters of Engineering (M.E) in Bioinformatics from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore. His Ph.D. was in Mental Health and Neurosciences from Maastricht University, the Netherlands. Abhishek is a Senior Member of IEEE. He has served in various volunteering positions at IEEE. Aseem Vardhan works as a Senior Director of engineering with the HPE Storage division and leads a global engineering team of R&D engineers to build “Intelligent Storage” that is self-healing and self-managing using AI and ML. Prior to this role, Aseem has spent more than a decade in Operating systems group where he led advanced product development teams in the areas of High Availability, Systems Management, and OS security. During the start of his career, Aseem worked with Sun Microsystem in the Operating systems group in the Bay area as Member of technical staff and then moved to Bangalore to set up the engineering group. Prasant Misra, Ph.D. is currently working as a Scientist at Corporate Research & Innovation, TATA Consultancy Services Ltd., Bangalore. Prasant is passionate about building systems "at scale" that can extend human and machine capabilities with newer and better ways of observing and managing the physical world. His research cuts across various aspects of computational sensing, optimization, and control of cyber-physical systems. His current focus is on smart mobility management. I love to tinker, from robots to insects. During my PhD, I built a multimodal virtual reality combining vision, olfaction and wind to deconstruct the decision processes in insects.
